Melty Bead 3D Pet Snail

Melty Bead 3D Pet Snail

Melty beads are a great item to have on hand for those bad weather days. They help children with their hand eye coordination while using their imaginations! This somewhat advanced Melty Bead 3D Pet Snail uses interlocking parts to create a dimensional little creature! Adult assistance may be required when using the iron for these Melty Beads.

Instructions
Step 1. Gather your supplies.

Step 2.

Using round pegboard, lay green and orange Melty Beads in pattern as shown. This will be the shell of your snail.

Step 3.

Place the wax paper provided in the kit over the beads and pegboard. Have an adult use the iron to melt the beads together. Move the iron over your design for approximately 15-20 seconds until your beads have melted together. Set shape aside to cool.

Step 4.

Using round pegboard, lay red Melty Beads in pattern as shown. Note that several spaces are left empty in this design on purpose. This is needed for the construction of your snail in a later step. Repeat Step 3 to melt beads.

Step 5.

Using round pegboard, lay red and black Melty Beads in pattern as shown. This will be the head of your snail. Repeat step 3 to melt beads.

Step 6.

Using round pegboard, lay white Melty beads in pattern as shown. Note that a space is left open in the center of this design on purpose. This is needed for the construction of your snail in a later step. This will be one of the eyes of your snail. Repeat step 3 to melt beads. Repeat this shape to make a second eye.

Step 7.

Once you have created the shell, body, head, and eyes, you are ready to construct the snail. Insert the body through the open gap created as shown.

Step 8.

Insert the head into the body through the open gap created.

Step 9.

Attach the eye by inserting the black Melty Bead of the head in the white ring of the eye. Repeat on the other side to attach both eyes. You have now constructed a 3D Pet Snail!
