Step 5.

Stamp or draw your design in the circle that you traced on the white paper. We wrote "#1 Teacher" with our Foam Cube Stamps and Rainbow Stamp Pad.

Step 6.

Use scissors to cut out the decorated circle from Step 5. Glue this piece into the middle of the second plate, the one without the hole. Tip: Make sure you glue this piece to the side that wasn't painted red, (this part will be the inside to your ornament craft).

Step 7.

Put the (2) plates together with the red sides facing out. You should be able to see the design that you created through the window in the top plate. Staple the top of the plates together to keep them in place.

Step 8.

Use a hole punch to create (12) holes around the outside of the plates about 2" apart. Make sure to punch through both plates, but keep the holes pretty close to the edge of the plate.

Step 9.

Find the top hole on your ornament. Thread cord through the hole. Leave about 3 inches of cord hanging out the back and loosely knot the cord so that it doesn't slip through. Add (4) Mini Pony Beads onto the cord.

Step 10.

Thread (4) Mini Pony Beads onto the cord.

Step 11.

Thread the cord through the next hole and then back up through the 3rd hole. Add another (4) beads and repeat around the plate.

Step 12.

Repeat Step 11 and continue to thread the shoelace cord around the plates, adding beads in every other section as shown.

Step 13.

With the excess cord, create a loop to hang your ornament.

Step 14.

You will now need to make 2 green leaves. First punch (2) holes, at the top, about 1 inch apart. Thread a  green Fuzzy Stick through the holes from the back.

Step 15.

Bend the Fuzzy Stick on one end to create a leaf shape.

Step 16.

Thread on several Mini Pony Beads and twist it closed to form a leaf. Repeat with the other side to create (2) leaves.

Step 17.

Wrap one Red Fuzzy Stick to create a circle the size of the opening. Glue the circle onto this opened window for a finished look. Give this apple ornament craft to your favorite teacher for back to school, a holiday or at the end of the school year!
