Gingerbread House Picture Frame

Gingerbread is a sweet, soft cake. During the holiday season, a harder form of this cake was baked and decorated with candies and icing and used as decorations. Use craft materials, such as Glitter Poms and Fuzzy Sticks to decorate a Gingerbread house made of wood craft sticks.
Materials
Paint Brushes 25 Pack Assorted Styles
Fuzzy Sticks 100 Pack Rainbow
Glitter Poms Large Size 75 Pack
Magnetic Buttons
Acrylic Paint Jars 24 Pack
Wood Craft Sticks 75 Pack Jumbo
Craft Glue
Heavy Duty Scissors **may require adult assistance
Instructions
Step 1. Gather your supplies.


Step 2.

Follow Steps 1 -5 of the Schoolhouse Picture Frame to create the base structure for your gingerbread house.

Step 3.

Use Acrylic Paint to paint your house shape brown. Set aside to dry.

Step 4.

Cut (5) White Fuzzy Sticks in half. Coil each piece to make a flat, circle shape. Tuck end piece inside to secure shape. Squish coil slightly to create an oval shape. Repeat for to make (9) ovals.

Step 5.

Glue the coils to the top roof of the house. These coils represent the white icing roof of a typical gingerbread house.

Step 6.

Glue red and green tiny Glitter Poms on each white coil roof for decoration.

Step 7.

Glue (1) medium and (1) small green pom to each side of the house to create small trees.

Step 8.

Cut (1) white and (1) red Fuzzy Stick in half. Twist (1) piece of each color together. Bend the top slightly to create a candy cane shape. Repeat to make (2) candy canes.

Step 9.

Glue the candy canes to both sides of the house above the trees.

Step 10.

Glue a 4 x 4 inch photo behind the frame. Add Magnetic Buttons on the back in order to hang on your fridge or magnetic surface.
