Instructions
Step1. Gather your Supplies.

Step 2.
Take your cardstock paper and cut out (2) side fins (these are the lateral fins), a top fin (this is the dorsal fin) and a fishtail.

Step 3.
Create an armature for your piñata by blowing up a balloon and attaching fins and a fishtail with masking tape. (**An armature is a frame around which a form is built).

Step 4.

Step 5.
Make sure to cover your armature with at least two layers of Plaster Rigid Wrap Strips. Allow form to set until it is completely dry. (Plaster Rigid Wrap cloth dries in about 6 hours).

Step 6.
On the bottom of your fish draw a circle that is approximately 2 inches in diameter.

Step 7.
Ask an adult to cut out the circle with heavy-duty scissors. This circle will now be referred to as "Circle Closure."

Step 8.
Paint your blowfish with 2 coats of Acrylic Paint.

Step 9.
Glue a Glitter Stick around the circle closure.

Step 10.
Cut 12 pieces of Rainbow Stain Cord approximately 1-2 feet in length. Glue the Rainbow Cord around the inside of the circle closure. Put the circle closure aside

Step 11.
Decorate your blowfish piñata with Sequins, Wiggly Eyes and cut up pieces of Glitter Sticks. Tip: We painted our blow fish with a mixture of blue and green paint. We made the mouth by painting a black oval and then encircling the oval with a thin pink line.

Step 12.
Attach a strip of masking tape (about 1 1/2 inches in length) to two sides of the circle closure.

Step 13.
Secure the tape to the inside of your blowfish. *Note that the rainbow cord should hang out of the circle closure.

Step 14.
Poke a hole through the top of your blowfish with a needle. Thread a long piece of rainbow cord through the hole and secure inside of the blowfish with a double knot. *The piñata will hang from this cord.
Fill your piñata with candy and have fun!
