Egg Carton Spider and Glitter Web
Recycle your egg carton to create a shimmery spider. Then practice tracing skills using our free template to create a spider web for the spider to sit!
Materials
Paint Brushes 25 Pack Assorted Styles
Shimmer Sticks 12 Pack
Glitter Glue Variety Pack Basic Colors
Washable Paint 24 Pack
Wiggly Eyes 80 Pack 7mm
Egg Carton
8.5 x 11" Card stock
Craft Glue
Scissors
Hole punch (1/8")
Instructions
Step 1. Gather your supplies.

Step 2.
Draw a spiderweb using a pencil onto a piece of card stock. Or click the "template" button under the picture for this craft and download the free spider web template that we have provided. Tip: you can print this web directly onto the card stock or print on regular printer paper and glue it to a piece of sturdy card stock.

Step 3.
Outline the spider's web using the Silver Glitter Glue. Start from the middle and work your way out. Be careful not to put your hand in the glue as you are tracing. Once done put aside to dry.

Step 4.
Cut out one cup from your egg carton to use as your spider's body. Punch (4) holes in 2 opposite sides of the cup as shown, these will be for the spider's legs.

Step 5.
Paint your spider and let dry.

Step 6.
Take (2) Shimmer Sticks and cut each one in half. Take each one and thread it through the hole on one side through to the hole on the other side.

Step 7.
Thread all (4) pieces through the holes to create the 8 spider legs. Bend slightly as shown.

Step 8.
Using craft glue, add Wiggly Eyes to your spider.

Step 9.
Glue your spider to the glitter web picture. You can also add decorations or write a Halloween message!
