How To Do a Facial

How To Do a Facial

Facials are one of the most popular spa treatments and you don’t need to go to the salon to get a quality facial. Learn how to do a facial at home to maintain the skin tone and make it free from impurities. Try home facial once a week.

1.Cleanse the Skin – It is very important to cleanse your face before you begin a facial. Wash your face with any mild soap or lotion to remove all dirt and makeup.
For Cleansing – Mix lemon juice one spoon, white part of the egg, and curd. Apply the mixture to the skin. Wash it with cold water after 30 minutes. This paste will leave skin shiney and soft.

2.Exfoliate – Apply good quality face scrub in circular motion on your face. Rub it gently all over the face especially areas around nose and forehead. For oily skin rub scrub into areas that tend to be greasy. Now rinse your face well with water.

3.Steaming Time- Use a steamer or boil water in a bowl and bring it place you are doing facial. Now put towel over your head and lean face over the bowl, about a foot away. Take steam on your face to feel nice and relax, avoid overpowering.

4.Extraction – Now it’s time to remove black/white heads. Use any extraction tool or cover your nails (if long) with cotton to remove impurities out. Avoid touching pimples as it may spread infection or leave scar. Now gently apply a toner on your skin.

5.The Mask – Select mask according to your skin type. For oily skin use clay based mask and for dry skin use cream or hydrating gel mask. Apply mask all over your face, avoid areas around the eyes (cover them with cotton balls). Leave mask for 15-20 minutes and relax. Later remove the mask with lukewarm water and apply toner again.

6.Moisturize – Apply moisturizer smoothly on your face and if you are   going out in sun don’t forget to apply sun protection cream. And now you are ready with a fresh look.
